Before Kanary begins looking for a supplier, we make sure that we understand exactly what product you need. This includes specific ingredients, packaging requirements, and whether you need multiple different kinds of products or just one.
Our team also examines if you are creating a new product, or if you plan to pursue a white label or private label strategy.
After we understand what products you need and your branding goals, Kanary begins the supplier search. We start with 20-50 suppliers, many of which are factories we have worked with in the past, and we narrow down the candidates based on their specialty, lead times, perceived quality, pricing, if they have the correct documents and certifications for exporting, and their overall fit for your needs.
Once we have narrowed the candidate field to 3-5 selections, Kanary begins the sampling phase. Our team solicits samples from factories (and manages their delivery), and we work with you to determine if samples meet your expectations of quality. The sampling phase is crucially important, especially for personal care products.
For factories that submit acceptable samples, Kanary begins a thorough vetting process. Our team inspects factories in-person, examines their quality control procedures, and determines if their mass production capabilities are in line with the kind of product you need supplied. After inspection, we consult with you to make your final supplier choice.
Once mass production begins, Kanary takes the lead in managing factories. We follow standard quality control procedures, address production problems as they arise, and make sure that the factory doesn't cut corners on your products.
When your product order is complete, Kanary handles the logistics of shipment. For personal care products, there are several shipping options you may want to consider, and Kanary can handle them all, including:
